The Adamello Brenta Park and Brenta Dolomites

The Adamello Brenta Natural Park is the largest conservation area in Trentino, enclosed by the Brenta and Adamello mountain group. It incorporates part of some important valley territories: Val Rendena, Val di Non, di Sole and Giudicarie. 48 lakes and the Adamello glacier, considered one of the largest in Europe, are found on its territory.

To make it even simpler and more inviting to get closer to nature, the park offers its visitors special display windows, “the park’s houses”. The houses each share a particular, fascinating look at nature and its local history through the use of modern display panels, reconstructions, videos, interactive activities and multimedia games.

The natural environment is rich in fauna and all the Alp’s characteristic species. The brown bear has become its symbol, its presence guaranteed by a special reintroduction project called Life Ursus, started in 1996. Thanks to this project, our bears have been saved from extinction and a museum and park have been dedicated to them, only a few kilometres from the Resort.
